All Bishops of the SACBC and all members of LCCLSA (leaders of Congregations or their representatives) are invited to attend the

SACBC Joint Witness meeting (held every fourth year)

online via Zoom on Tuesday 7^th and Wednesday 8^th September 2021

three sessions per day: 9.00–10.30 am, 11.00–12.30, 3.30–5.00 pm.

Theme: Enabling an emerging Church –

exploring needs & ways of being Church now.

Purpose: How can we in our spheres offer leadership in

activating responsiveness to the impact of Covid & other challenges,

with mutual appreciation and in line with our new Pastoral Plan,

with the potential resources available to us?

Programme:

Tuesday:

• The challenges and opportunities presented to us by Covid.
• Creative responses that have arisen.
• How we can collaborate in leading responsive ways of being Church in these times.

Wednesday:

• Good relations between Bishops and Consecrated Life leaders and members.
• Various interest-groups on specific matters.
• A paraliturgy of listening to the experience of groups that are ageing and diminishing, and also that of those that are growing and attracting new life.

(Wednesday 8^th September 3.30 – 5.00 pm)

is open to all members of Congregations –

a Facebook link will be supplied.

Some may be unfamiliar with Zoom and feeling anxious about it.  For those interested, there will be a short optional practice session

on Monday 6^th Sept. at 3.30 pm.
